University of Auckland – EU-NZ Free Trade Agreement Negotiations – What are the Stakes?

The Europe Institute at the University of Auckland is scheduling a series of student-friendly ‘hot topic’ seminars with key representatives of the EU Delegation in Wellington, our Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and members of academic staff at the University of Auckland. If you are interested in History, Business, Politics or European Studies, you are warmly invited to listen to this panel discussion on May 6th at 4.15pm.
All are welcome, it’s free and you don’t need to be an expert to attend! The speakers are excited to speak to anyone that has an interest in considering what is at stake during the ongoing EU-NZ Free Trade Agreement Negotiations. This event is hosted by the Europe Institute at the University of Auckland, and it brings together representatives from the European Union’s Delegation to New Zealand, New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and Auckland’s business community. The panellists will discuss the main issues at stake during the trade negotiations, with a particular focus on agriculture and the food sector.
