The Reserve Bank of New Zealand’s 2023 Monetary Policy Challenge closes this week on Wednesday 28 June, 5:00pm.

There are only a few days left for students to submit their answer to this year’s question: When do you think the Official Cash Rate (OCR) will move from 5.5%? In which direction do you think it will move and why?

Winners of the challenge will be invited to spend the day at our Wellington office. Students will get to sit front row in our press conference, have lunch with Governor Adrian Orr and have an exclusive look behind the scenes.
